Emotional Intelligence

"Emotional intelligence" is the innate potential to feel, use, communicate, recognize, remember, describe, identify, learn from, manage, understand and explain emotions". (S.Hein)

And a more formal definition is:
We define EI as the capacity to reason about emotions, and of emotions to enhance thinking. It includes the abilities to accurately perceive emotions, to access and generate emotions so as to assist thought, to understand emotions and emotional knowledge, and to reflectively regulate emotions so as to promote emotional and intellectual growth.

Emotional intelligence involves certain abilities that describes four areas of capacities and skills :
1- Perceiving Emotions: which is the most basic area that deals with nonverbal reception and expression of emotions.
Thus, the capacity to accurately perceive emotions  of others provides a crucial starting point for more advanced understanding of emotions.

2- Using Emtions: The ability of emotions to promote and facilitate thinking. Having a good system of emotional input,
therefore, should helped direct thinking toward matters that are truly important

3- Understanding Emotions: . Emotions convey information: for example happiness  indicates a desire to be with others while anger indicates a desire to attack or harm others. Once a person can identify such emotions or actions, the capacity to reason those emotional messages and actions becomes important.  So Fully understanding emotions, in other words, involves the comprehension of the meaning of emotions, coupled with the capacity to reason about those meanings.

4- Managing Emotions: Emotions can be managed. A person needs to understand emotions convey information: That is a person voluntarily wants to remain open to the emotional signals that cause him to be relaxes and comfortable but blocks those that are bad or overwhelming.

The mother

God bless all of our mothers;
happy mothers day.

Mother love is the fuel that enables a normal human being to do the impossible.

No words can explain what the mother is. Certainly the mother is the whole world. She sacrifices  her life for her children, and she never complains. Rather she is happy with what she does. If love have to be defined or looked at, the mother in all what she does for her children is the best example for the pure and true love. A love that gives you power and energy to do anything, because what most of us need in order to do something is mainly the support for it, no matter how hard it is. The mother's love is able to give this support and confidence, the faith and power to do it or even have a try. We all have to thank God for His priceless gift; the mixture of perfect feelings that decorates the life; the mother. God keep them safe for us.

Teaching

Teaching is a noble career. Being a teacher is not that easy. It needs alot of patience and "passion" to a certain limit since it is important for a person to love the job he/she is doing in order to fully succeed in it.

So this applies a little bit more on teachers. The teacher is not only a person who gives knowledge to students, A teacher is the second guide for students. Students spend almost half of their day learning at school, so certainly too many things will happen there. And all of what happens (fights, talks, cases in class) are opportunities to learn something from. Respect, being good with others and many other basics in life could be attained there. Each class is a sample of the big society that all students will be dealing with after they finish. Thus, the school would be a basic stage that prepares students to the true life out; within people. And this will be the second big role of the teacher after being the one who teaches content and knowledge.

For that teachers really have to love their job and live for it in order to be the good teachers, students need.
After I finished my Bachelor degree, I decided to continue to have a dilpome in teaching.
Since I want to be a teacher, it is good to attain it. I like it and I find it a good way to learn and improve the teaching skills each teacher should have.
